Protected Cultivation

Protected cultivation comprises of technology and devises whereby the crop is protected from agencies adversely affecting the crop.

Protected Cultivation
Detailed Description

In addition it has some vital advantages like increased level of CO2, maintenance of proper level of humidity and temperature, reduced water requirement etc.
WHY PROTECTED CULTIVATION?
  • Intensive Cultivation
  • Assured and Uniform Quality of produce
  • Assured Manifold Increase in Yield
  • Less Water Requirement and other Inputs
  • Essential for sensitive and high value crops, for research and for seed production
Due to the above reasons there is assured increased profitability from crops in protected cultivation than open field cultivation.
Some of the adversely affecting agencies are
  • Climatic
    • Rain and frost
    • Scorching Sun
    • Extreme wind
    • Biological
      • Pests and diseases
      • Weeds
The structures in protected cultivation are
  • Greenhouses also known as Poly-houses
    • Fully Controlled
    • Semi controlled
    • Naturally Ventilated
    • Shed Net Houses
      • Flat Roofed as per NHM / NHB Norms
      • Round Roofed as per NHM / NHB Norms
      • Poly tunnels
        • Low Tunnels
        • Walk Through Tunnels

Irrigation Systems

We provide consultancy services for design of various Irrigation Systems including necessary survey, plans and estimates, project report for bank finance etc.
Irrigation Systems
Detailed Description

Which include the following,
  • Lift Irrigation Schemes with Innovative, very effective and Unique ‘Equal / Proportionate’ Distribution System.
  • Equal/ Proportionate Distribution System for Lift Irrigation Schemes.
This is an inventive and innovative contribution by us for lift irrigation schemes. While lifting water from the source to the Main Delivery Chamber (MDC) is easier because it has definite design principles; the distribution of the same to each and every farmer’s field is difficult and complicated owing to its working entirely on gravity principle. The design engineer has limitations and the system is not effective.

We have invented a foolproof yet very simple, practical and effective solution to this problem. The entire water is distributed at the MDC point and each farmer gets his share without fail. Every farmer gets water when the pump is running. No one can stop any one’s water. There are no valves, therefore no need of operator.
We have formulated many schemes with this concept, and since 1999, they are running very efficiently with 100 per cent satisfaction level of the participating farmers.
This concept has been applauded by many renowned authorities from irrigation department, NABARD, lift irrigation societies, social workers.
This concept is award winning and was awarded twice by Maharashtra Sinchan Parishad for its innovative design and efficient working.
  • Equal / Proportionate Distribution System for Canals.
The above mentioned concept can be used for distribution by canals also. Farmers’ Co-operative water user association need come forward for its implementation.
  • Micro Irrigation Systems comprising of
    • Drip Irrigation,
    • Sprinkler Irrigation,
    • Sub- surface Porous Pipe Irrigation.
